Not so long ago…………
There was a group of people who migrated to Canada and become proud Canadians.
They chose York Region Ontario as their new homeland. They have a strong will to learn, to adapt, and to foster greater acceptance and understanding of Canada’s diverse cultures and communities.
They actively participated/organized activities by volunteering for not-for-profit organizations. They also served voluntarily as a bridge and filled the gaps between Canadian and other cultures.

Since 2004……
This group of people founded the Canadians Multicultural Links Association (CMLA) which is a not-for-profit, volunteers operated organization.
-----We outreach to deliver free presentation/workshop/exhibition for cultural information.
------We conduct Japanese dough arts/crafts classes such as flower & miniature arts.
------Our website contains York Region information in Chinese (Traditional & Simplified) and in English.

Recently………
-----We would like to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their support and the grant for maintaining our ongoing programs by delivering free informational presentations/workshops for other communities. These programs help foster greater acceptance and understanding of diversity and enhances our healthy and vibrant communities in this great province.

-----We are honored to receive funding from the Regional Municipality of York through the New Agency Development Fund (NADF) to re-construct a user-friendly web page. It is a fast and easy way to search for major information of York Region, such as police, hospital, schools, libraries, transit and other information.

Want to participate?
Please come and join our crafts classes and activities. Share our arts and cultures. They are fun and educational. Simply check this website regularly to learn more on our upcoming events. Everybody is welcome.
Have fun!
